About Andrew Gross
Welcome to my website. I’ve written sixteen thrillers, nine NYT bestsellers, including five #1’s with James Patterson. Many were about regular people, who, through a slight misstep or twist of fate, find themselves over their heads in forced way beyond their control. More recently, I’ve made a shift to historical thrillers, including THE ONE MAN, based on family stories in the Holocaust, and THE SABOTEUR.
BUTTON MAN (on sale Sept 18, 2018), set in New York City between 1905-1932, is about a garment entrepreneur who rises from the Lower East Side to go head to head against the most ruthless crime boss in the city, who has seized control of the garment unions.
I’ve been shortlisted for top thriller awards, and my books have been sold into over 25 countries. People have said my books have a lot of pace and heart, but mostly, I’m only trying to tell a gripping story, of family or greed or desperation, one in which ordinary people might step into the shoes of those things are happening to and ask themselves if they fit the role of a hero, and then root for one for a while. So click a link and take a look. I invite you to thrill yourself for a few hours.
